This unique experience takes place in Kibale Forest National Park and Budongo Forest β home to East Africaβs last intact chimpanzee populations. These two primate-rich forests offer you the perfect backdrop for a deep forest encounter that starts bright and early at 6:00 AM, when chimp activity is at its peak. ππ³
Led by expert trackers and guides, youβll trail chimpanzees as they wake, feed, and interact, all while discovering the magical ecosystem they thrive in.
The best seasons for the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience are:
June β September
December β February
These dry periods offer easier trekking conditions and better visibility inside the forests. Combine this experience with Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi or a classic wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park for the ultimate African adventure. π¦π¦π¦
