This unique experience takes place in Kibale Forest National Park and Budongo Forest — home to East Africa’s last intact chimpanzee populations. These two primate-rich forests offer you the perfect backdrop for a deep forest encounter that starts bright and early at 6:00 AM, when chimp activity is at its peak. 🌞🌳

Led by expert trackers and guides, you’ll trail chimpanzees as they wake, feed, and interact, all while discovering the magical ecosystem they thrive in.

The best seasons for the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience are:

• June – September

• December – February
