Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
An early start! Head to park HQ for a gorilla trekking briefing, then venture out for a life-changing encounter with Rwanda’s majestic Mountain Gorillas. Trekking lasts 2–6 hours, with 1 hour spent observing these Great Apes in their natural habitat. 🦍
Return to your lodge for lunch and a well-deserved rest.

Day 4: Canoeing & Kayaking
After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Lakes Burera and Ruhondo, the iconic twin lakes nestled near the Uganda border. Marvel at scenic views, terraced hills, and vibrant birdlife. 🛶
Later, enjoy kayaking on River Mukungu, before returning to your lodge.

Day 5: Hike to the Dian Fossey Monument
Begin with an early breakfast, then proceed for a 3–4 hour hike to the site where legendary primatologist Dian Fossey lived and is now laid to rest. Visit her ruins and grave, alongside the tombs of her beloved gorillas. 🕊️
