🚗 Day 1: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park (Drive Time ~5 hrs)

Start your journey with a scenic drive through Uganda’s ruggedly beautiful countryside, heading west to Kibale Forest, located beneath the mystical Rwenzori Mountains. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in the crater lakes region for stunning vistas and breathtaking scenery.

🐒 Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

Begin the day with an incredible chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, one of the best primate destinations in Africa. You may also encounter:

• Grey-cheeked Mangabeys

• Colobus & Red-tailed Monkeys

• A variety of birdlife and butterflies

In the afternoon, take a peaceful nature walk through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, renowned for its biodiversity and unique flora and fauna.

🚙 Day 3: Kibale – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Drive Time ~5 hrs)

Travel through what’s arguably East Africa’s most scenic route into the highland rainforests of Bwindi, home to the world-famous mountain gorillas.

After checking in at your lodge, enjoy a relaxing afternoon — perhaps indulge in a spa treatment or soak in the serenity of the forested surroundings.

🦍 Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Village Visit

Get ready for the highlight of your safari — mountain gorilla trekking! Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with a briefing by rangers from the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Important to carry:

• Rain jacket

• Drinking water

• Snacks

• Hiking boots

• Camera (no flash)

Gorilla trekking may take 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family you're tracking. But the reward is beyond imagination — a face-to-face encounter with a gorilla family in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, explore nearby villages on foot, meet local people, and immerse yourself in the authentic culture of the Bwindi region.

🛫 Day 5: Bwindi – Entebbe (Flight Time ~1 hr or Road ~9 hrs)

After breakfast, take a domestic flight from Kihihi Airstrip back to Entebbe (morning or afternoon flight depending on schedule). Alternatively, opt for a scenic road transfer (approx. 9 hrs) for a final glimpse of Uganda’s breathtaking countryside.
