🛬 Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport – Kigali Hotel (Travel Time: ~25 mins)

Receive a warm welcome to the Land of a Thousand Hills. Transfer to your Kigali hotel for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

🌲 Day 2: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest (Travel Time: ~5 hrs)

Begin your day with a visit to the Genocide Memorial Center – a powerful tribute and reminder of Rwanda’s past and resilience.
En-route to Nyungwe National Park, stop at King Mutara III Rudahigwa’s Royal Palace Museum, home of the elegant Inyambo cattle with long, majestic horns.

🐵 Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek & Canopy Walk

Track chimpanzees deep in the forest – hear them hoot, dash, and swing in a thrilling display of wild behavior!
In the afternoon, take on the Nyungwe Canopy Walk – offering sky-high views of the forest canopy, birds, and wildlife.

🚙 Day 4: Nyungwe Forest – Volcanoes National Park (Travel Time: ~5 hrs)

A scenic morning drive to the famous Volcanoes National Park, home to gorillas and golden monkeys.

🦍 Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Start early for your Gorilla Trek briefing at 07:00 and head into the forest by 08:00. A life-changing wildlife moment awaits you!
Later in the afternoon, explore Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village – a glimpse into rural life, traditions, music, and dance.

🐒 Day 6: Golden Monkey Trek – Return to Kigali – Departure (Travel Time: ~2.5 hrs)

Morning trek to see the rare Golden Monkeys – vibrant, playful, and endemic to these mountains.
Return to Kigali after an early lunch for your outbound flight.
